Sue Fairweather
An experienced leader, mentor and specialist in the Management Rights industry. Sue leads a group of hotels and resorts in Queensland, New South Wales and Fiji, and has owned, managed, acquired, sold and run holiday and permanent complexes in Queensland over the past fifteen years. She works across all facets of Management Rights and sets the bar for excellence in the industry.
Stephen West
An industry veteran who has both owned and operated Management Rights, overseeing the operations of numerous properties on the Gold Coast, along with roles as Asset Manager with Dreamtime Resorts and Strata Manager with Accor. Stephen authored the Professional Management Rights Handbook and consults on compliance, mediation and workflow structuring.
Marisa Millane
With extensive experience across Management Rights, IT and telecommunications, Marisa brings a unique combination of industry knowledge, business acumen and technology expertise. Having owned and operated Management Rights herself, she now works closely with operators and property developers through her role in IT, giving her a strong understanding of the industry. Marisa is also the founder of Women In, connecting professionals across Management Rights, resorts, tourism, property and strata, with a passion for education, growth and industry development.
We have attained authority across a spectrum of domains, including Strata Management, Workplace Health and Safety, Human Resources, Finance, Audit and Compliance, and Dispute Mediation, among others.
We also take pride in being the sole authors of a comprehensive training handbook covering all facets of the industry. It prepares managers for the entire business lifecycle, from pre purchase considerations through setup, day to day operations, property development, getting the business ready for sale, and exit strategies.
